Isn't the cervix supposed to go back to being low, hard and closed soon after ovulation? - can my cervix be low and hard and still be pregnant

As a rule, not mine, but not yet, and I'm about 5 or 6 days past ovulation. I check twice a day because I know that can change during the day, depending on the movements of the intestine, but it is still very high, not too hard and not yet completed. Is it normal to do that? I know that my body does not even know that I'm pregnant, but my cervix is still high.
